A leader in human health exposure and risk assessment, Ms. Rosenheck,
senior consultant and founder of LR Risk Consulting, Inc., has been at
the forefront of this specialty field for over 17 years. Before
starting her own company, Ms. Rosenheck managed the occupational
and residential human safety group at Syngenta Crop Protection,
Inc., a global leader in agribusiness.
Starting in 1995, Ms. Rosenheck was responsible for conducting regulatory
safety assessments for the entire NAFTA product portfolio; this
was later expanded to include all of South and Central America.
She provided critical input to the registration of new products
and new uses as well as prepared reduced risk documents, Proposition
65 evaluations, responses to registration eligibility documents,
and strategic position papers. Her portfolio includes working with
pesticides, biocides, inert ingredients, and animal health products.
She has collected, interpreted, presented and defended exposure
data to regulatory authorities. Ms. Rosenheck’s experience
includes interactions with the US EPA, California EPA, PMRA Canada,
as well as Brazil’s ANVISA.
She held the roles of Field Studies Chairman and Technical Chairman
on the Outdoor Residential Exposure Task Force (ORETF). She has
been active on various other industry groups and task forces including
the ARTF, REJV, OP Case Study Workgroup, AHETF and AEATF. In addition,
Ms. Rosenheck presented on behalf of the ORETF at the 1999 EPA Science
Advisory Panel meeting in Washington DC. Building on her strong
field experience, Ms. Rosenheck designed and implemented numerous
novel studies, including the first industry registrant study to
measure transfer of turf residues to hands.
Ms. Rosenheck holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of
California at Davis. She began her career at Pan-Agricultural Laboratories,
Inc., a field and analytical FIFRA GLP-compliant contracting company
near Fresno, California. Here Ms. Rosenheck was responsible for
planning and conducting worker exposure monitoring studies throughout
the United States and Canada.
In addition to handler and re-entry studies, she conducted Jazzercise
re-entry, dislodgeable foliar residue, turf transferable residue,
efficacy, drift, and aquatic run-off studies.
